PICTURES:
Well, this is what we did on Halloween night when we had to be in early. We put on our footie pj's and took silly jumping pictures (yes, missionaries have fun! LOL!) We got a little carried away. Ha ha! It was cool though - we showed a family the pictures the next day - they have some teenage girls - and the mom was like, "thank you for showing us that! It's SO good
for my girls to see. They see that you sisters are spiritual, you
teach great lessons and give great talks and you are missionaries, but
you are still real people and you have fun. And missions can be fun!
They need to see that, so thank you!" It made me feel good - it was a fun night. LOL!
We had a sleepover in the living room for Halloween!
We
went on a hike this morning for Pday - left at 8:30am and didn't get back until Noon. It is called 'Little Mountain' in Mt.
Vernon, it was just so beautiful. That is one thing I just really love
about Washington...it is gorgeous. And the weather was perfect for a
hike. On the way down, there were all these switch-backs so we decided
to jog it and it just felt so good. I've been running 1-2 miles every
day for a while now and I've come to really enjoy running. It was even
better running in the beautiful weather with awesome scenery. At one
point going up this mountain it was a straight incline. That was a calf
and thigh KILLER, but really fun. I just love this beautiful nature,
you won't find that in Texas. All this green, I just LOVE it.
Made it to the top!
All the missionaries got together and played CHAIR SOCCER. It's SO fun! You sit and protect your chair while everyone is trying to kick the ball and hit your chair. If your chair gets hit, you are out. But then if the person that got you out gets out, then you get back in!
A member took us to this cool restaurant, so we had to take pictures with the Indian figures!
